Jess from DIGS Design Lab designed our house, and it turned out fantastic. It’s beautiful, modern, relevant and very functional. The house is an open concept design with very cool modern roof lines similar to other designs but with a unique configuration that we had not seen before. The large windows provide us with stunning views and it ties into the current landscape beautifully. The house has a standout presence on the block due to its large timber beams, all black siding with additional timber accents. We couldn’t be happier with how our home turned out, thanks Jess.

Working with Jess is a real pleasure. She is accessible, organized, imaginative, and thorough, as well as punctual and responsive. She took my "pen on a napkin" level ideas and transformed them into something aesthetically pleasing, functional, and structurally sound. One hundred percent recommend.

Working with Jess was an absolute pleasure from start to finish. I asked her to design something that could be built on a modest budget but still accomplish what I wanted. She designed a small mountain retreat for me, to be built close to the slopes on Red Mountain. I wanted two bedrooms upstairs that I could rent out until I retire, and a simple owners suite on the ground level that my daughter and I can use for skiing, snowboarding, and mountain biking. She took the time to truly understand my vision and helped me shape it. I had never gone through this process before, and I was quite nervous about it. She transformed it into a design that exceeded my expectations.

Jess was recommended to me by the builder, and it was after I met her that I learned she embraces the mountain lifestyle having grown up in a mountain town. Jess balanced aesthetics with functionality, and her eye for design brought what matches my needs in this build. The build is not finished yet but watching the progress on it has been amazing. It’s coming along nicely. Communication was always clear and timely with Jess like when I added a feature a couple months after what was the final design. She made the changes in very timely fashion and that put me at ease as it was in time for the city permits submission process.

I couldn’t be happier with the results so far. The build is coming along nicely and as that process plays out I know that if a design need arises she will be on it. I highly recommend Jess and Digs Design to anyone looking for a talented and dedicated mountain home designer who truly cares about their clients.
